GUTS TO TRY / THE DESIGN AND ITS MEANING
RESOLVE, EVEN WHEN
THE OUTCOME IS UNCERTAIN.
Operation Eagle Claw ended without rescuing the hostages. Eight American servicemen lost their lives. The words “For Having the Guts to Try” recall the courage behind the attempt.
An eagle, coordinates and a Tabas reference carry the story onto the shirt.
